I'm Kate - a thru-hiker, runner, and gear enthusiast with 10 years of writing experience.

After successfully thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail Southbound in 2022, I shifted from Real Estate Compliance Consulting to a career focused on outdoor recreation.

There's a joy in seeing individuals and brands thrive. In advocating for the hidden gems. Whether it's researching a new cottage gear company, helping someone get excited for their first half-marathon, or pulling together a technical article to build brand awareness; I'm that person who will be excited right along with you.

I focus on SEO content writing, technical writing, and editorial proofreading. My work includes writing SEO blogs and feature articles for online media companies to highlight relevant topics in the outdoor industry. As a partner to due diligence consulting firms, I collaborate with industry-leading marketing teams to build brand awareness for environmental, appraisal, and construction services.
